Their Microsoft based Secure Information Exchange solutions have been deployed to 1.5 million users, across 60 organisations in 12 countries.
Boldon James have knowledge and experience of messaging, especially X.400 / X.500 & Directories, which dates back to 1990. Their involvement with Microsoft started early 1996 in response to requirements from the U.S. Department of Defence (DoD) for the world’s first COTS based secure E-mail system. The relationship with Microsoft has since become extensive and as such they were recently elevated to ‘Global Go To Market Partner’ for messaging in Defence as well as having Gold Partner status. Since 1996 their product portfolio has steadily expanded from Microsoft Exchange add-ons to include Instant Messaging, Directories and Gateways for both Military, Aeronautical and Homeland Security applications.
Boldon James was acquired by QinetiQ on the 24th October 2007.
