About Commpower

From inception in 1984, CommPower has been seeking excellence in the system development/integration market, with emphasis on real-time message processing/switching and data communications applications. Headquartered in the United States, with an office in Dublin Ireland, CommPower’s products and services have been successfully deployed worldwide to Government and Defense agencies within the U.S. and also to NATO allies.

Achievements

• Provider/Maintainer of 6 product lines currently deployed en-masse within the U.S. Defense Message System (DMS) program (all products are DMS “certified” and part of the DISA sponsored core suite).
• CommPower’s ACP-145 Gateways are the first to be deployed in a large operational environment (U.S. DMS program; fully DMS certified for operational use).
• Successful partnerships with other leading messaging vendors and integrators to bring tailored messaging solutions to many European countries.
• Formal partnership with Telos Corporation to provide an enterprise-grade web-based military messaging solution known as the AMHS (deployed within the U.S., Europe, and Canada).
• Design authority for a centralized, enterprise-grade weather/warning dissemination system for the U.S. National Weather Service.

Products

First and foremost, CommPower is a product supplier, with a focus on X.400, SMTP and XML gateway solutions that include:

• XML Portals: XML-based portals/gateways that enable third party web-based (or other XML) systems to be seamlessly connected to a formal X.400 messaging environment (Products: CP-EXP and CP-XJP).
• ACP-145 Gateways: Nation-to-Nation X.400 gateways that perform complete and configurable security policy translation processing and element mapping in support of seamless and controlled information exchange between disparate message domains (Product: CP-145).
• Military Legacy Gateways: Border elements that convert JANAP/ACP128/ACP127 legacy messages to/from P772/X.400 and XML (Products: MFG, CP-XJP).
• Microsoft Exchange Solutions: Installable extensions to the Microsoft Exchange server that provide specialized content-based dissemination, archival and guaranteed delivery capabilities within the standard Exchange environment (Product: TREX-2003).

Using its vast product base and associated messaging expertise, CommPower also offers complete turnkey systems (all lifecycle phases) to satisfy unique customer requirements. In this role, CommPower has successfully performed as both a prime contractor as well as a sub-contractor/teammate.
