ADS-B and Multilateration Surveillance
The Quadrant Surveillance System includes clearly defined building blocks to implement Wide Area Air Traffic Surveillance as well as Advanced-Surface Movement Guidance and Control. With its ultra-compact design a single Quadrant sensor installed at the top of a mountain provides ADS-B service exceeding 200 nautical miles range. As part of a cluster the Quadrant sensor delivers highly accurate information to enable a Quadrant Multilateration Controller to determine positions for all those aircrafts, not having an ADS-B capability.
