Founded in 1969, Egis Avia (Sofréavia) is a private consulting and engineering company who has developed its know-how and expertise to offer global services and products in mastering every component of the Civil Aviation industry.

Egis Avia (Sofréavia) is recognised altogether for its air traffic management R&D capabilities, its consulting and engineering skills as well as for its air traffic control systems development references. The company gathers 180 employees; most of them are engineers with master's degree. They have successfully completed more than 1,000 projects in 140 countries. This long experience makes Sofréavia one of the most relevant and reliable partners in the worldwide Civil Aviation industry.

On November 17th 2006, Egis (www.groupegis.com) acquired Sofréavia. Egis became the unique shareholder of Sofréavia. Sofréavia becomes Egis Avia on 7th August 2007.
