Isode Internet Messaging Servers

M-Switch: a high performance, highly flexible and robust Internet Message Switch using directory configuration. It can be used standalone, or as the base switching system for M-Switch Anti-Spam.
M-Box: Ahigh performance Internet Message Store, supporting IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) and POP (Post Office Protocol).
M-Box Gateway: Enables mail clients to access Internet Standard POP (Post Office Protocol) mailboxes using IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol).
M-Link: Instant Messaging and Presence server based on the XMPP (eXtensible Messaging and Presence Protocol).

Isode X.400 Messaging Servers

Isode provides a complete set of X.400 products, providing solutions for military and intelligence markets, for the aviation industry, and others needing X.400 solutions.

M-Switch X.400: Isode's M-Switch product is a full X.400 MTA offering high performance and flexibility. It supports the P1 protocol (for transferring messages to and from other MTAs) and the P3 protocol (for message submission and delivery).
M-Store X.400: Isode's X.400 Message Store provides online message storage with high performance access for X.400 P7 clients and integration with M-Switch using X.400 P3 submission and delivery.
M-Switch MIXER: A high performance message switch, providing conversion between X.400 and Internet email according to the MIXER specifications

Messaging Configuration Management

Isode ships two management tools, one GUI and one web-based, for the configuration management of Internet and/or X.400 Messaging servers (M-Box, M-Switch and M-Switch X.400). User accounts for M-Link, Isode's XMPP Instant Messaging Server, are configured at the same time as email accounts using the Internet Messaging Administrator (IMA).

Enterprise Messaging Management and Administration (EMMA) is a GUI management tool that provides client/server access to Internet/X.400 messaging configuration information that is stored in the directory and used by the Isode messaging servers.
Internet Messaging Administrator (IMA) is a web-based interface for Internet messaging configuration management. IMA is used by Email Service Providers (Top-level administrators), domain owners (delegated administrators) and end-user mail account owners.

Messaging Operational Management

Isode ships a number of flexible management tools with our Internet and X.400 messaging servers, including tools that support monitoring and control of operational systems.

MConsole, a graphical console that enables monitoring and control over one or more copies of M-Switch.
Audit Database, a database of structured audit log data from one or more M-Switch servers. Used by Isode tools for management reporting, message tracking and quarantine management
Message Operator Interface (Web) covering operational statistics summary, message tracking and quarantine management.
Event Handling & Audit Logging using a client/server protocol, supporting event log viewing monitoring and searching.
Monitoring using SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and the MADMAN (Mail and Directory Management) MIBs (Management Information Base).
XMS Console supports management of multiple M-Store X.400 servers from one place.
