Whilst there are many XMPP clients available, some of their authors' differing interpretations of the XMPP standards means that not all will function optimally with M-Link. The clients below have been tested internally by Isode and are known to function correctly on the platforms which they have been listed against.

We are always interested in feedback on these clients and other XMPP clients that you may be aware of.

 

Psi

Psi is a free XMPP instant messaging application. Fast and lightweight, Psi is fully open-source and compatible with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.

Gajim

A free Windows/Linux XMPP client.

Coccinella

Coccinella is a free and open-source cross-platform instant messaging application with a built-in whiteboard and Voice calls using VOIP. Coccinella is available on Windows, Linux and Mac platforms.

Meebo

Meebo is a free browser-based instant messaging application. Although you can sign up for a free meebo.com instant messaging account (which is itself XMPP based), no signup is required to use this web client to access an XMPP server or servers running a number of proprietary protocols such as MSN, AIM, Yahoo and ICQ.

iChat

iChat is an AIM, .Mac, ICQ and XMPP client produced by Apple Inc. for their Mac OS X operating system.
