Messaging over HF Radio & Satellite
Isode's ACP 142 subsystem, which provides support for STANAG 4406 Annex E over HF Radio using STANAG 5066 and Satellite using IP has been extended in two ways:
- Support of Internet Messaging (using a BSMTP format and Annex E compression). This gives optimized transfer over STANAG 5066, multicast and EMCON support.
- Support of 'Connection Oriented ACP 142', which optimizes performance for point to point non-EMCON transfers.
The whitepaper Messaging Protocols for HF Radio has more information on this area.
HF Radio & Multicast Console
A new GUI Console provided as new screen in MConsole to help configuration, testing and operation of STANAG 5066 in support of Isode’s ACP 142 applications. This will provide:
- Service Discovery and Easy Setup
- Latency and throughput performance testing of underlying networks.
- HF Chat for operator communication and testing.
See the STANAG 5066 Console product page for more information.
Directory Replication by Email and over 'Air Gap'
We now provide an efficient approach for providing directory replication over messaging and "air gap" LDIF files. This is intended for:
- Use over HF Radio, providing EMCON and Multicast support.
- Replication of border systems where messaging is the only option
- For use in boundary systems, with external checking of the files
The whitepaper Directory replication by Email and over Air Gap has more information.
