Aviation
Directory
The ATN (Air Traffic Network) Directory is defined
by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Authority) as a part of the
overall ATN specifications. A major goal of the ATN Directory is
to support aviation messaging solution. Isode uses directory services
as a core part of its aviation messaging solution, and to enable
the Extended ATS Message Service, that requires support of the ATN
Directory.
Isode provides all of the servers
and management tools needed to build and operate an ATN Directory.
Aviation Messaging
The aviation industry is adopting AMHS (Air Traffic
Services (ATS) Message Handling Services) to support ground to ground
communications for services such as flight plans, NOTAM (Notice
to Airman) and Meteorological information. AMHS systems will eventually
replace legacy AFTN (Aeronautical Fixed Telecommunication Network)
and CIDIN (Common ICAO Data Interchange Network) based systems.
Isode provides the servers
needed to build an AMHS Infrastructure.
Government
Directory
Government departments typically have a fair degree
of autonomy in selecting the IT systems they use but there is often
a centrally imposed requirement for systems to work together. This
requirement to operate independently and to work together has a
key influence on the requirements governing directory system selection.
Isode's M-Vault (LDAP/X.500) directory server is a
popular choice for Government
directory deployments.
Internet
Messaging
Isode provides all of the servers
and management components needed to construct a complete Internet
Messaging system.
The Isode solution combines SMTP message switch with
anti-spam, POP/IMAP mail delivery, XMPP Instant Messaging, LDAP
directory for account provisioning and authorisation and GUI &
browser-based management tools.
Mobile Email Gateway
IMAP is the best protocol for email access from mobile
devices. IMAP provides efficient use of network resources, quick
scanning of new messages, the ability to download message parts
independent of the entire message and shared folder access.
The Isode mobile email
gateway for mobile operators and email service providers is
a quick to install, easy to administer gateway server giving IMAP
access to POP email accounts.
Military
Directory (ACP 133)
Directory services are a critical military component,
used for tactical and strategic systems. Military directories, specified
by ACP 133, are used to provide information services, support of
military messaging, and as supporting infrastructure for other applications
such as PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
Isode provides all of the servers
and management tools needed to build and securely administer a military
directory.
Military Messaging (STANAG 4406)
STANAG 4406 is the NATO standard for Military Messaging
based on X.400. STANAG 4406 Military Messaging is used for Formal
Military Messaging, and defines a number of functional and security
features to support formal military messaging. It is often used
for informal Military Messaging, particularly for High Grade messaging,
where features of X.400 to support high reliability are of particular
importance. STANAG 4406 has a number of special protocols to support
tactical messaging, in particular to support very low bandwidth
links such as HF radio (STANAG 4406 Annex E) and to support receivers
in EMCON ("Emission Control") mode who can receive but
not send data.
Isode provides the central
components of a military messaging infrastructure with full compliance
to STANAG 4406 standards and architecture.
