Isode's Harrier release is a Fully Supported Isode release of Harrier (see the Supported Releases page for more details).

Read on for the major changes that Harrier 3.1 introduced.

Draft, Review & Release

This release provides new functionality and UI for draft, review and release. This provides a clean simple UI for drafters, reviewers and releasers which shows the workflow and makes each task straightforward.   Supports control of users who can send directly for selected messages based on SIC and Priority.

Configuration of this is provided in Cobalt 1.1

Role and Organization Address Books

Provides two address books, based on entry type as configured by Cobalt. This allows Action/Info/Exempt to be filled with Organizations, and draft/release/review address to be filled with roles.

There is also a new "local mode" that allows messages to be sent from roles (as opposed to organizations) with the recipients as other roles.

SIC Control

Added controls to require a configurable minimum and maximum number of SICs

User Manual

The manual has been split into a User Manual and and an Administration Manual. The User Manual can be displayed in Harrier.

Security Clearance Checking

Message Security Label will be access control checked against recipient security clearance obtained from the directory. Where security clearance is present, messages will only be sent when access control permits.

French Language Support

French language is now supported. This is selected based on browser locale.

MTF / ADatP-3 support

Harrier has support for handling of MTF (Message Text Format) forms, used by ADatP-3 / APP-11, OTH-Gold and other formats. It allows an MTF file to be attached to a message, which can be encoded as a MIME attachment or in line.

Harrier recognizes arriving MTFs as attachments or in line, and and allows download as a file.

This allows simple MTF import/export, facilitating integration with C2 systems using MTF.
